I am a Dutch fashion & print/textile designer currently based in Paris, France.
This is THE IMPRINT PROJECT, for which I create a new print every 48 hours. It is a way for me to do what I love and at the same time push myself to keep discovering new techniques and stay innovative. I create the patterns by using different methods such as: collage, photography, hand drawing, painting & by using computer programs like photoshop and illustrator. My background lies in fashion design. I completed an MA-degree at Institut Français de la Mode in Paris [2012] and a BA-degree at ArtEZ, the Arnhem Institute for the Arts in the Netherlands [2009]. Professionally I have gained experience working for amongst others: Maison Martin Margiela, Hussein Chalayan, Nike & Siv Støldal. My work is identifiable by a strong, bold and graphic appearance whilst never losing focus on refined details.
